fuji869
I just saw on ComCast Sports Nite Redskins Mini-Camp Update and LaVar Arrington said he is out to get Defensive MVP this season, no bones about it. :asta: I hope he gets it and an I like to hear him talk like that. theposse
My only question is is Arrington setting his goals high enough? I'm hoping he'll just be out-and-out league MVP.
bulldog
LaVar needs to help the defense with pressure on the quarterback. I am glad to see Lewis stressing that role for him. We don't have a defensive lineman capable of putting up the kind of numbers that Strahan does so we need a rotation to be successful. The idea of Arrington playing wide as a rushman on third downs is something that this defense needs to reach the next level. If LaVar finishes the year with 8 or 9 sacks this defense can really achieve things.
REDSKINS STOMP
It may be hard for guys like LaVar, Champ and Smoot to rack up a ton of stats because I just don't think they will be on the field all that much. Lots of three and outs.
