Chrisbob74
With all this college football going on I am noticing that college ball only gives a 15 yard penalty for PI. would you guys like to see this adopted in the NFL? Some none 'Skins fans reading this may think this is another "sour grapes" thread about how penalities cost us this year but my feeling is that the offenses have been tossed enough bones over the past 10 years or so with some rule changes/enforcements and it would go a little way to balancing things out. What I don't like about the current rule is that by making the penalty at the spot of the foul, it assumes the receiver would have caught the ball yet he may have dropped it anyway! Also, officals call it too often when the ball is not catchable. with the 15 yard rule, if the guy does catch the ball and the penalty is called, they would have the option to decline the penalty anyway. I like the college rule better........opinions guys?
rebornempowered
Yes, yes, yes! I have been preaching this one for years. That and a change to the Sudden Death overtime. The reason I think this rule should be changed is because the possibility of a 30-50 yard penalty should not be possible with something as subjective as pass interference. skinsaddict
i do not like that pass interferance changes the whole game, especially because the NFl officials blow the call 50% of the time.
redskns21
It's a tough call on this one. I prefer the current setup if only because of the fact that it prevents PI penalties on plays would go for much more than 15 yards.
