inmate running the asylum
According to reporter Mike Florio, the Buzzard's star running back, Duce Staley, will be cut loose after June 1st. Hmm. Since Ive been following this guy, Florio -- only about a month-- he is 2 for 2 on predictions. Consequently I aint needed to consort.... er consult with Miss Cleo lately :fortune:  Florio was the first to report that Callahan would be the new Raider coach and last Thursday Florio reported that Bledsoe would be traded to Buffalo, when everyone else thought the deal was dead. So stay tuned Buzzard fans, regarding the Duce. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.cfm

bulldog
with Davis getting 1,400 - 1,300 -1,450 yards the past three seasons and being just 27 years old, I don't see how anyone can laugh at the Redskins running game............... especially not a team like Dallas that has to platoon its STARTERS to get the same production inside and out that they got from just Emmitt alone 2 or 3 years ago there is no GM in the NFL outside of the homer Jones that would take Smith/Hambrick over Davis right now. them's the facts pardner. No doubt. But what's Smith??? Like 60 right now? :notworthy But hmmm, let's see .... Davis $8 million for 1200 yards. That's $6,666.67 a yard. Hambrick: $500,000 for 560 yards. That's $892.86 a yard. Not too shabby ay crabby? Eddie
bulldog
Hambrick has never started a season's worth of games or show he has the ability to take the team on his back and win games. so any comparison between him and Davis is like comparing Brett Favre to Chad Hutchinson and saying that Hutch is the better value under the cap in terms of pure dollars  Hambrick has never gained 1,000 yards, never made a pro bowl, never to my knowledge sealed a win with a big run or scored more than 10 td's in a season. Let's start discussing this minnow once he has actually started swimming in the adult pool, eh?
inmate running the asylum
NavyDave, Miss Cleo is famous and aint no "he" or a "dude"! :fortune: You gotta start getting out more often. There's more to life then bilge pumps. Hmmm. Bulldog's sense of humor is coming back. Now if we could only break him of chasing 18-wheelers.

RySkins
I guess the Eagles need to save some cap room being that they are only $10 million + under the salary cap.

Six fumbles last year... "them's the facts". The rest is just your opinion. You are correct about one thing though, platooning Emmitt and Hambrick could ony produce 1/3 of the fumbles that Davis had. "The Cowboys kept the ball on the ground, converting a third-and-2 on a run by Troy Hambrick, then getting a 13-yard run from Emmitt Smith to set up the winning kick. Smith ran 25 times for a 107 yards, his first 100-yard game of the season."We made the plays when we had to," Smith said. " This is why there are GMs around the league who would take Emmitt over Davis. Emmitt's MVP days are behind him, but Davis will never be considered for MVP. He loses games for his team. I was reading the board here last year during games, there were a lot of Skins fans that felt Davis needed to be benched for his fumbles.
inmate running the asylum
Yeah thats what the morons for the Cleveland Browns thought too, when they traded RB Ernest Byner to us after THE FUMBLE. And the rest is history. :hammer:
