FuriousD
Gibbs is gonna have to look for a legitimate short yardage back this offseason. I don't think he's comfortable with the short yardage situation as it stands! I dunno, call it a hunch:laugh: Portis played hard last night but he's just not built for moving the pile when inches really matter and thats the one battle Gibbs wants to win most of all. Possesion. I bet he gets more satisfaction lining up his Jumbo set and running down the opposition for 4 yards on third and 1 than play faking to Cool down the middle for 14. He's just built that way. Who would have thought that Rock would get no playing time this year, even in short yardage??? He seemed to have a nose for the marker last year. Strange! Any ideas who the new face could be? FA probably..............:helmet:
Skins26
Just heard that TA McClendon from NC State will be going pro. He will fall a great deal b/c of lack of speed. Possibly even to 3rd round. If he falls to the 3rd, he can be ours!

spm
Why not just pick up an Eddie George or Antowain Smith type for a year or two for short yardage? It's cheaper and short yardage is one thing old guys still do well.

How about we sign Keshawn for Hailmary situations he seems to knock down a ball everytime Parcells puts him in at the end of a half/game. Stop it, Portis/Betts are fine! I think we have greater needs!!
