They tore it down earlier this year & they are putting up a shopping mall (I believe). I remember seeeing it being built. I had a LOT of good times at Cap Centre. From 1976 to 1985, I must have seen a good 60 - 70 concerts there not to mention many Bullets games and a few Caps games. I even saw some gymnastics (post 1984 Olympics), box lacrosse (Maryland Arrows), the circus, Ice Capades and indoor football. That place was like a home away from home.
