yonisredskins
I just witnessd one of the worst TV commercials starring our finest Redskins. They had Lavar, Portes as well as Carmelo Anthony ... singing this god awful tune. They kept saying "At eastern motors, your job is your credit" over and over again. I can't understand what kind of money a local used car dealer could have offerd them to take on the gig. The song, graphics and layout looks like a cheap as$ home made video. :puke: :puke: :puke:

Kevin101
Pretty funny commercial, once again Carmelo would not make a good actor, Portis looked like he was having a blast in the car, LaVar looked real funny, Kevin Jones RB from Detroit was in it also. SKINtil8tin
Horrible, cheesy commercial...but everytime I hear that song on the radio or tv, I have to hear the whole thing. It's got a catchy beat and I kinda like it!

That one is legend and will never be forgotten. "And yes, you too can have a big screen TV from Theater Vision..." He still gets ragged on about that commercial today, 20 years later. As far as the Eastern Motors commerical, perhaps they all got a free NEW CAR out of the deal. It may have cost the players an afternoon of their time and they may have walked with new cars. WM_Marylander
I think that commercial is funny as hell. What's a couple thousand for about 15 minutes of work for those guys? I'd do it. I'd be all over crazy commercials if I was famous. Fried Chicken, Cars, Mattresses, you name it.
TheDane
Man. I remember when it used to be on the radio, and it was pitched by the guys from WKYS when it was a rap station. Eastern Motors is stepping up. "Eastern Motors. Where your job is your credit."
cowboykilla
WKYS is still a rap station. And you know CP was high as hell blasting P Troy in that SUV. Just like I was watching the commercial.

cowboykilla
Don't worry Dane. A summer of being home listening to 93.9 and 95.5 resulted in me hearing Juvenlie "Slow Motion" 7,993,487,384 times. XM destroys DC's sorry radio. Norfolk is a different situation as well. They have some radio stations down there baby.

The disturbing part of this, is the message that is clear to everyone. I guess this runs deep into the NFL, no matter the team.
skinsfan44
Yea, the commercial is chessy as he11, but it is funny. Will it get me to buy a car/truck from Eastern Motors, no, but I will laugh everytime I see it.
yonisredskins
I felt that whoever is in charge of providing promotional opportunities for these huge football stars is not doing his/her job. Come on, utleast help promote a product/service that's nationaly available, don't settle for some local no name car lot. By accepting this gig, they've devalued ther marketability with big companies.
