Ax
I had a thought. At the HOF game this coming Monday, it would be nice to see the current team stand up for two GREAT Redskins from the past. Art Monk & Chris Hanburger The offensive players could wear something, wristband, towel, etc... with #81 on them. The defensive players could wear the same with #55. Maybe better, Coles could represent Art Monk since he won't be in the game much. He could lobby on the sidelines and draw attention to the cause. LaVar would do the same for Chris Hanburger. This is THE game to do this sort of thing. National exposure and all. The only thing better would be for coach Gibbs to wear a #81 jersey on the sidelines, and coach Williams to wear #55. So Om, Bayougator, or anybody else that has access to a player on the team, and everybody going to training camp that gets within earshot of these guys, see if we can make this happen. I know the guys have a lot on their plates right now, you know, trying to do their jobs. But this wouldn't be a big distraction, and it's a worthy cause. I bet LaVar would do it, if somebody put the bug in his ear. Just a thought.
Mr. S
you gotta make sure Monk and Hansburger approve though. Im sure it is allowable to some extent, like wearing the jersey or something, but you have to get approval for taking time to announce stuff and whatnot. Kosher Ham
As cool as that may be. I dont think it would go over too well with the Commish. Probably a team fine at least. Fans should wear stuff. I dont know if the players or staff would be allowed to, it would be cool though.
