Redskins trade Samuels: Redskins recieve Charger's 2nd round pick and Clevland's 2nd round pick. Cleveland trade #7 overall and their 2nd round pick. Canadian Hog Posted April 13, 2004 Share Posted April 13, 2004 I think you are taking a pretty big risk by assuming that Winey will perform admirably at LT. Remember, teams didn't have a good read on this guy when he stepped in late in the season. Could that have possibly been a reason why he arguably looked better than Samuels? Possibly. With more film, teams will have a better chance of succeeding against this guy. I think that is one thing we need to seriously take into consideration. Additionally, what sort of effect would the loss of a proven LT have on Dockery at LG, in the event that he earns the starting job there? These are questions that need to be asked.
