NoCalMike
I'd go with McCalister or Plummer. If possible.
Jimbo
Well, there is certainly no lack of choices is there? Darn you and your greed Champ!
dissonance19
haha no way the ravens let mcalister go. with the 23 mill in cap space and his willingness not to listen to other teams, hes not going anywhere from baltimore. which makes me happy. citigent
winfield, he even has the williams conection
Truant
I'd like the #1 guy on that list... i wonder who that would be?? Winfield would be great. He's going to be pricey. Plummer would be good too. Fernando Bryant is intruging, but i couldn't recommend him on the amount that i've seen him.
citigent
is it possible that with the number of good cornerback that the market prcie will go down, just thinking simple supply and demand theory
Skins26
Winfield, or Woodson.
Storm
Id take winfield or either of the Phili corners as stopgaps for a couple of years.
carlsbadd
Man theres a lot of talent there. Makes me feel a little better if we lose champ. I like Taylor from philly, he may have not have the speed but he is a solid tackler
REDALERT
Goodbye Champ and bring us that #1 pick:laugh: greedy motha Rucker.
Phat Hog
Obviously a good year for the Skins if they want to play hardball with Champ…
redblazer00
DeAngelo Hall, Virginia Tech 4.25 speed! Pros: Blazing speed, reportedly ran a 4.19 in spring practice. Big play Cb with a flare for the dramatic. Electrifying return man. Strong against the run. Breaks on the pass well, excellent recovery speed. Good in transition off the line and stays with the receiver Cons: Somewhat inconsistant and raw, over persues on occasion. needs to refine his skills. Could improve his footwork and stay in the backpedal longer. Must be quicker picking up the action mentally. said be somewhat ****y If we loss Champ I really like the idea of getting Hall as the future! WM_Marylander
Yeah... I'll second the DeAngelo Hall with a first we'd recieve for Champ. We could have whoever we get with that first pick, hopefully Hall play Nickel for a bit, and get some experience and leeway for something to do with Smoot when the time came. Though... a defensive tackle would be really tempting... and probably should be the priority.
tkatz
No way we should draft a CB. I think the whole point of trading Champ would be so that we can draft another positional need player (defensive line, rb). I think we should sign a well established corner such as Antoine Winfield and if we choose to go lower salary way then signing two guys might work (Mario Edwards, Ahmed Plummer).. Duke
With a lot of FA CBs out there, I don't see us draft a CB this year. While waiting the restructuring Dline to contribute, we need a stud corner to play alongside Smoot, and a rookie CB, even Hall, couldn't do that. So, I'd say get Winfield or Vincent and look forwrd to the next year's prospect CB.
Displaced Fan
I'd take Winifield (to reunite him with Williams), or Taylor, or Vincent to hurt the Eagles. I'd stay away from Woodson, he's contaminated with the Raider philosophy.
earl
man what a crowded market of great cb's. granted champ is the best, but a replacement would likely be cheap.
