Brunell a short term solution, so if no SB in the next 3 years.....then what?

To me this move, if it plays out as: Sign Brunell, trade Ramsey; REEKS of short term solution. So what happens if Gibbs leaves again after 5 years. Brunell could potentially be gone in three years into retirement and then what happens. I understand why Gibbs would want Brunell on the roster, I understand EVERY BIT OF IT, it makes sense, HOWEVER, what does this have to do with getting rid of Ramsey? I see no reason why Ramsey would need to be traded whether Brunell is here or not. If we let another potential future probowl/franchise QB go, I will be so pissed.

Give Gibbs some credit....he normally didn't play younger QBs rather heady vets...but that doesn't mean he would let Patrick go....lets wait to judge
