Ghost of
It's the movie about a parrot that is trying to find his way home, but it's interesting in that the narrative is achieved through flashback(and some voice-over) as a story told by the bird to a janitor named Misha(played by Tony Shaloub) I was surprised because the commercials for this film did not convey(though it would have been hard) that this was actually a semi-serious story. The characters had depth, they were varied and you actually were rooting for the bird(and Misha) at the end. A quality film, I'm not sure if it flew under the radar or if I was the one who missed out on it. I don't have kids but I imagine this would be a good family film as well. :applause:
Riggo-toni
Tony Shaloub is awesome. I still can't believe the cancelled Stark Raving Mad, but at least now I can watch Monk!
Ghost of
I do like him as an actor, and he's eminently likeable onscreen. It really was a quality film and I was surprised as I had kind of woken up while it was just starting and just decided to keep watching it. It did draw me in and I enjoyed it. Prosperity
I saw it, and liked it. Its a pretty good movie that can touch people of various ages, and only a few movies can do that (Finding Nemo is a good example). Tony Shaloub is a good actor especially in Monk I don't see him in too many movies though.
