inmate running the asylum
I have a hunch when free agency begins, that the Skins will go after one of these DT's and attempt to sign him to a free agent contract. My guess is that it will be Robaire Smith that we get. The reason being that I recently read that the Giants offered Cornelius Griffin a $7 million dollar signing bonus and he turned it down. Also, DC Gregg Williams would also be more personally familiar with Smith I believe. What do you guys think? Robaire Smith: http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/187652 Cornelius Griffin: http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/187552

SkinsNorth
Griffin has the higher upside, but Smith is more consistent. I say Griffin because I am unsure how much better Smith is than what we already have.

Mark28
I'd go after Smith. He'd be a nice addition and not to expensive. I think Corn had some behavioral issues this year, no? Maybe no big deal but I think that might discourage the FO. No more taking chances on troublemakers. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

Prosperity
Well since we play the Giants twice, wouldn't it make more sense if we take away one of their D linemen so they can't use him against us?

Renegade7
i'd only take Sapp if he was cheap. I'm worried about him being a headache cuz i believe Bugel will fix him straighter then a 2 by 4 in heartbeat. No more bs, he'd be a huge addition to the D-line!!! --------------------------------------------- 0-16, 16-0, skins fan till i die!!!

Jimbo
Smith would be a cheaper option but I like Griffin. He makes more tackles which is what we need against the run. It would also make the Giants a little weaker and I could deal with that.

Taylor Made
Robaire Smith if I had to choice between the two. He'd be cheaper, and is familiar with Gregg Williams. He's a tad bigger than Griffin. Ideally if we could get both of these guys it would solver our DT problems rather fast.

Jay Master Jay
I'll say Smith and maybe draft the kid out of Oklahoma. We thought the same thing about Stubblefield and Wilkinson. He's right Smith did play for Williams at Tennesee which is a plus. We need hard workers with a good motor. Noble should be healthy also.

atloldskin
Either one or both. It just shows that we have a good chance on solving our DL problems with FA. We also need some strong DEs.
