It's not like our choice of QB is going to keep us out of the play... oh wait, it already did. Raise your hand if you are convinced that Kent Graham could have won both the Iggles game and this game? Guest The Angry Buddha Posted December 23, 2001 Share Posted December 23, 2001 Without the benefit of the coaches' game tapes, I don't think we'll ever TRULY know which is worse-- Banks's quarterbacking or Raye's playcalling (my vote). But I will agree that now we are eliminated from the playoffs, it's time to give Sage a shot. If Raye is the problem and will be replaced in the offseason, there is no reason to give Banks two more games to develop in this offense. If Banks is the problem, his audition is finished anyway. The real loser in all of this is Kent Graham. streets Posted December 23, 2001 Share Posted December 23, 2001 I said it at the beginning of the season and I'll say it again: Sage Rosenfels can carry this team and make plays. With sub-par mechanics and lacking some knowledge of the offense, he could still do it. I saw this guy in a High School basketball game score 7 points single handedly with 15 seconds in the 4th qtr. left to carry his team to a 1 point victory. He loves to win and he is twice as smart than our other two options. If Marty gives him a chance you will all see a different QB than you did in the pre-season. That's a guarantee.
