TK
http://redskins.com/story.asp?ContentID=12307 Redskins to Wear Retro Uniforms Sunday 11/26/2003 By Gary Fitzgerald Redskins.com The Redskins will wear their special retro uniforms for this Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints at FedExField. The team wore the uniforms for home games last season in honor of the franchise’s 70th anniversary. The retro uniforms include the spear-and-feather helmet that the team wore from 1965-69, as well as gold pants with burgundy and white accent stripes, and a burgundy jersey with the spear-and-feather logo and uniform number on each shoulder. Pictured is Redskins' defensive end Renaldo Wynn, shown wearing the retro jersey in last year's Week 6 home game against the Saints. (Photo by Don Wright) The decision to wear the retro uniforms comes in conjunction with the NFL’s new policy allowing teams to wear a third uniform during the season. This Sunday's game against the Saints starts at 4:05 p.m.
gridironmike
Don't you guys think the earlier uniforms that were just burgundy and gold are a LOT nicer looking, and the #81 Throwback in the '94 season?
