bulldog Posted November 25, 2003 Share Posted November 25, 2003 Spurrier needs to show some guts and deactivate Smith for the balance of the season as Gruden did with Keyshawn. In my mind Spurrier or any coach is never going to get the requisite respect from his players when he lets an individual basically come out and DISRESPECT his Defensive Coordinator and other coaches for their strategies. This is a direct challenge to Edwards and Spurrier needs to get his back. Also, when was the last time you saw a player go behind the back of Bill Parcells or Jeff Fisher to the owner to complain about playing time?
