manchild157
" 2 qbs on the 53 roster imo will not fly with Shanny. What if you lose both during a game? Do you want Jordan Reed running the offense or similar player who has qb experience in their past? Not me, keep 3 qbs for security." 157 Well TE J Reed is just like a Pat White so why use the roster spot beings we have so many young kids who could help our team win for years to come? can you say that about Pat White? You're saying that Pat White couldn't help the team in the future? Qb is the most important position on the team. I can't see cutting a 3rd string qb that could play a role as insurance and scout team and keep a 3rd string dback or 4 rbs when we could hide one of those on practice squad. Jordon Reed as a qb is an unknown commodity. Was watching the 1st qrt. of the Steelers game instead of doing something productive today. I keyed on Dhall among others and noticed how well he was tackling in that game. Hope the days of his sissy-ass arm tackles are behind us and he's being a good role model for the young dbacks on our team.
goskins10
Ken - You bring up a good point about the backs. Right after the draft, it was thought we would let either Helu or Royster go, keeping 2 out of Keiland Williamson Thompson, and Jamison. Based on performance, unless Williams is still dinged up to start the season (I did not see how serious his injury was), I think Morris, WIlliams, Helu, and Royster make the 53 with both thompson and Jamison going to the PS. I am pretty certain both would clear waivers. Just to be clear, I would much prefer us keep White, and I don;t care how well or poorly he plays in preseason. But just going by recent history, I really think they will keep rex. Maybe he has compromising pictures of Kyle - First let me say that it is wonderful having a debate in here based on football, Redskins football, and the concerns of trying to find the best 53 guys plus 8 more for the PS. Fans making good points about the skill levels of Redskins roster members without getting worked up to the point of name calling. I really hope it stays that way. If I could, I would hit the like button 1000 times for this one!!!

Verdict is still out on that one 28. Seems the coaches are all in on Rex because he's starting with 1st team.

Rexy couldn't even give that Bills db a interception, man hit the dude in the chest. Rexy you can't be trusted to not throw an pick.

No reason to give people film. Easier to get them through to the PS. I really think that's the plan, especially seeing Helu get so many carries today. goskins10
I don't care if Forbath can't get a KO past the 50, keep a KO specialist. That guy is money on FGs!!!! We have been needing that for a very long time! Good to see him get some work too.

I believe every kickoff so far has not been run out of endzone. So he may be feeling the heat on the weak part of his game, he not going to kick it into the stands. goskins10
We looked pretty good but realistically all we did was beat a very bad Buffalo team. Also, penalties are still a problem. Lost Crawford for the year and 3rd down is still not getting much better. Ok, enough negative ned. I liked White. Would love to see him make the 53 instead of rex!! Ken Linkins
Wow, after watching this preseason game, it is clear that nothing was cleared up today (no one fell on their face). If I was another team's GM, I would be calling GM Allen on Monday asking about White, Royster, K Williams, Briscoe, and Stallworth. Buffalo needs a QB, Pittsburgh a RB, many teams looking for WR help. Waiting to see if they get cut is a gamble when you have a need now. Trading a 5th,6th or 7th on Monday would make sense as all of these guys will make the 75 man cut and they are all bubble guys here but should be playing in the NFL this year. The talent level here has increased 200% and maybe we can start the next phase of building a good football team (i.e. start cashing in on the good coaching, drafting and great ideas like signing guys like Pat White). IMO we should place a little bit back into the bank for next year by trading a few guys who might not make our team or a few guys other teams feel have a value (but not hurt us this year). God it is a great time to be a Redskins fan.
28skinsman
Ken I would have to agree and a few trades for draft picks would be sweet!
hailyeah1
well at this point teams needing position players are looking at the wavier wires first before trades happen and ours will be different but if teams are desparate enough to trade we do have a glut at some positions . manchild157
Penalties, penalties, in the 1st half, marred production. We get Griff back and 3rd down woes will be gone. Tired of everything Grossman, slinging the ball on a prayer.Amerson,Rambo, Minnefield tackled very well. Rambo attacked his target instead of waiting and getting juked. Alfred's conditioning program this off season designed for speed is paying off he looks quicker and showed a spin move today. Love how players are living the ''next man up'' motto, Golston,Baker, Mapp, Brandon Jenkins. Wow, I'm telling you that we are in a good place with these players. Oh yeah, Buffalo sucks mostly but thing is we don't play down to any of these preseason opponents, we are decidedly much better than those teams.
