JerseyGator
Cutler was a good system QB with Denver and has a strong arm, but IMO Chicago is where QBs went to die under Lovey Smith. Brian Griese said the offense felt like "second class citizens" there. Kyle Orton did much better in Denver right away and Cuter was near awful often in Chicago with Rex's system. If you ignore the OL as much as Chicago has (they traded their #1 2011 OL pick today for a sixth rounder), no QB is going to do well there. Maybe things will change with their new coach. CrabR
I am ever so grateful we did not trade for him. He did much better with shanahan. I shutter to think we were trying to trade to draft Sanchez and acquire Cutler. I do think if we did get Cutler shanahan would have gotten much more out of him than they did in Chicago
