bricucci
Just like a whistle is supposed to blow the play dead. The ref's can interpret the rule wrong and do what they see fit. Just ask Deangelo Williams. It would never work.
RandyHolt
How long does it take the Ref to roll his eyes at the coach and tell him to pick it up? Seriously. Want to speed the game up -- don't allow icing the kicker. about the same amount of time it takes the millions of viewers, opposition coaches and players to get annoyed with dumb coaches, or coaches exploiting the system to get his two cents in. Under previous rules, what was to stop coaches from trying to review every single play that could not even be reviewed, oh lets say to disrupt an offense on a roll? There's a difference between a heat-of-the-moment brain f*rt and repeatedly doing it. You get one brain f*rt.
