Coach Janky Spanky
The bubble was delayed because of all the rain in september/october in our region. they couldn't do the work until the ground hardened up.thats what they said on the radio the other day, and it makes sense. it's not an issue of money - the bubble is bought and paid for. not every problem this team has is related to incompetence, some of it is dumb luck. unless you believe snyder controls the weather... .. The bubble was delayed because of delays in getting permits and because of other red-tape. Sure weather played some part in delays, but you don't see construction around the DC area screeching to a halt just because fall 2011 was wetter than average. They should have built a bubble years ago. And I don't understand why they didn't build one during the off-season/lockout. Sort of inexplicable. Last year they had to practice multiple times in local gyms and airport hangers.
HTTR F Dallas
Just FYI, the Sendoff/Welcome Home crew has been observing the development of the practice bubble as it it right across from the main building (just inside the main gate). What was posted is correct, they have been majorly delayed by all those rains we had a couple months back, but they are back on the ball and we have been watching the leveling of the area as well as foundation pieces being put in. If we see any new development, we will let you know I will try to get some pics not this weekend but the following (Sendoff) weekend. Any chance you got some pictures? or have any updates? Forgot all about the bubble.... hoping it would be done by now...
