Sellers played well as a TE under Gibbs. Good at blocking and he caught 6-7 TDs if I recall correctly. But, if neither Cooley or Davis are traded and there are no injuries then he's a long shot to make the final roster IMO

7TDs on 12 receptions in 2005. All from one of my favorite Gibbs plays where we would just hit him in the flat and he would litterally walk into the endzone untouched.

I believe a veteran FB is key, I'd like Sellers to stay until he's ready to go.

In Sellers's best season as a skin, he caught 7 tds and was used as a goal line beast. I like the move because it makes room for a new FB whether that's young or someone else. It also prolongs Mike's career. I'd be more than happy with Cooley/Davis/Sellers, or possibly dealing cooley for picks.
