Hubbs
So, I'm applying for this job that I really, really want. While I'm absolutely confident that I could knock the responsibilities of the gig out of the park, I know that they'll be considering people with more experience on their resumes. Luckily, the company is pretty much the exact opposite of a stuffy corporation, and even included a few jokes in the job posting itself. The position is very writing-intensive, so I think I can do myself a big favor with a dynamite cover letter. I have some ideas, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if any of you remember a particularly good cover letter you wrote, or even better, a particularly good cover letter you read as an employer/HR person. Creativity is definitely a plus, so it doesn't have to be a "standard" sort of letter.
