#NYG WR Steve Smith to miss remainder of season with knee injury: Steve Smith was examined by team physician Dr. Russell Warren at the Hospital for Special Surgery yesterday and underwent an MRI to his left knee. He sustained an articular cartilage injury to his knee when he was tackled from behind in the Vikings game on Monday. Smith will require season-ending surgery which has yet to be scheduled.

The BBI Player of the Year award is officially cursed.

Yep. Seriously bad timing. And it's the same injury Osi had in 2008, so he's probably not going to be 100% next season either.

Well, there may not be a next year so he may have 2 years to recover.

I think Hagan will fill in nicely. And Clayton once he learns the offense will be a nice fourth receiver. But they will definitely miss Smith.
