SkinnedAussie
If anyone is interested in cycling, be sure to switch to the coverage of the UCI World Road Racing Titles, currently being held in my home town of Geelong. I made the decision to watch the coverage today so as to see how Geelong would be seen, and I must say that I was impressed at what was shown. Overhead shots of the track showing the water front, the CBD. the Botanical Gardens, and the numerous suburbs the track winds through have all been seen. Tomorrow (Fri), our time, is the U23 road race, which will take a couple of hours to complete, so I'm sure with that, the Women's road race on Saturday, and the Men's road race on Sunday (Melbourne to Geelong, then 11 laps of the 22.8km circuit), there will be plenty of Geelong still to be shown. SkinnedAussie
The actual cycling doesn't do anything for me, so the event isn't really something that interests me, but the fact that it is here is enough for me to just put it out there, and if anyone wants to see vision of my home town, then so be it.
