In the Army you always run into people who tell you "Yeah, last deployment I was kicking in doors." or "I got 3 confirmed in my first tour in Iraq." then you deploy with them and they abandon their post at the entry control point, leave the gate to the FOB wide open and uguarded, the first time they receive incoming. Incoming. Now these same people are able to pretend that they've been decorated when they went on a paid vacation to Iraq... it blows my mind. I'm not saying that lying should be a crime... but I think it takes a lot away from the people who have earned such decorations. It's just a shame.
