NFL Fanhouse: No Easy Road for Redskins' Jeremy Jarmon

Didn't see this using either search feature but a pretty decent piece on Jarmon.

Jeremy Jarmon hasn't even been an NFL player for 13 months, but it has already been a wild ride for the 22-year-old defensive end.

Jarmon was behind the eight ball as a rookie in 2009, having been selected by Washington, not in the normal April draft but in the third round of July's supplemental draft. Smart and athletic, the 6-foot-3, 270-pound Jarmon made the team as a backup and special teams player in the first 11 games before his season ended with a torn left ACL in Week 12.

While Jarmon was rehabbing, the Redskins changed coaching staffs and defensive schemes. New coordinator Jim Haslett asked Jarmon to slim down to move to outside linebacker. But after Jarmon slipped to 260 pounds, the coaches decided he belonged at end after all and asked him to bulk up to 295 by the start of training camp.

"I've actually had fun with it, getting down and seeing myself real skinny," Jarmon said.

Seems a bit ironic...real skinny at 260 :ols:
