Chrissy
Since when did Champ bl*w so much? Hey, I had high hopes for the guy last year and I think he is the cutest but man he has fallen off!
Om
Quite an entrance, Chrissy. Have to take your word for the "cute" part, but I'm fairly confident in asserting that Champ doesn't blow on the field. He had a couple of tough plays in a nightmare of a game for his team. That's all. As for what he does off the field, that's his business.
Art
I don't tend to rate players on the level of cute they possess. Champ fell on one play, which can happen, and he was in a defense in which the coaches had him 10-yards off by design, which gave a quick slant. A seven-yard cushion and that's a seven-yard gain. With a strong-armed QB, a 10-yard cushion is a touchdown especially if you have your safeties flat with the corner's depth. That was a poorly designed and executed defensive play. ------------------ Doom is in the box.
Chrissy
Well you see he used to be my favorite player last year along but I think that everyone annointed him the next Deion too soon and it has gone straight to his head! I've heard many of my friends who went to camp this year say that Champ doesnt listen to what is said to him in practice, maybe no he has gotten a reality check!! MarkPSkins
Also, I noticed David Terrel on that play head straight for the line of scrimmage to support the run either by design or by mistake. It was not entirely Champ's fault. I think he expected some inside help, but Terrel said to himself, "i'm gonna sneak up on this one, Champ's got him" ------------------ <IMG SRC="http://www.texaspitts.com/nakedskins.gif" border=0>
Skins57
Also this next week the CB should be able to handle the Wr of KC one on one, with Alexander gimpy(I knew I shouldn't have drafted him) and Snoop out with Aikman syndrome. CHris Thomas and LArry PArker are not Carter and Moss. Hail Skins
Art
I wish Champ wasn't listening. If he wasn't listening, he wouldn't be lined up 10-yards off, which is a staple of this coaching staff and the teaching this staff presents. Most teams use 5-or 7-yard depth off a receiver. We are one of the teams that uses more space. I'd like to see Champ say, "Hey, I'll just get up on the guy and if I fall down, I fall down, but other than that, there's no way he's beating me for a junk pattern when I can stop that." ------------------ Doom is in the box. NavyDave
Champ should say that he is one of the uncuttable on the team so his comment wont hurt him. KC will still beat us with T Gonzalez going agianst our LB and Safeties ------------------ Take a sip of the Marty KoolAid and Believe
