webnarc
The new Janes Addiction album has a pretty innovative sound, but if you want to play it on your CD rom be prepared to install software. I'm not sure why Capitol/EMI did this, but I'm guessing it's to protect their intellectual property. I don't buy a lot of music but I would have considered buying this album until I discovered that you CANNOT play it on a CD rom without installing their software. This sounds a little too much like AOL to me in that they don't tell you anything about it. Would this put anyone else off?
Kilmer17
It's a great album. worth the hoops they make you jump. Of course, no need if you just play on an old fashioned CD player.
Golgo-13
Yea, I noticed that too. I was trying to play it on my PC at work and I couldn't do it because we can't install any .exe files at work. So I just had to bring my discman in instead.
