I actually specifically remember (and yes, this is kind of a weird memory) Britney playing a concert at the Merriweather Post Pavilion back in 98, just when she was getting really huge, and the Washington Post Review described the masses of teenage boys that went to the concert.

All you had to do was turn on MTV and TRL to see all of the guys tripping over themselves to see her in person or voting for her videos.

Let's face it, most of those ferries that would sit through a Britney concert or want to even be caught on TRL have never seen any panties other than their mom's XL's in the drier.

In the 90's guys would just be finished hitting a homerun with their girlfriends, look at the clock, see that Baywatch was on and go watch it without getting dressed.
