Stafford having a 21% success rate on 3rd Down throws resulting in a 1st Down through the first two games. Plus, there's no guarantee they kick the FG. Going Commando Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 It looks bad in retrospect and I was confused by the call at the time. It's nice to have an aggressive coach who is willing to trust his defense but at some point you have to realize that our defense isn't very good and is not allowing you that cushion you thought you had before. What is inexcusable was letting Stafford scramble for the conversion like that. From where he was behind the LoS, that was like a 35 yard run.
