BayouBrave86
Can Jim Zorn make half-time adjustments? Since the BYE WEEK last season, the Skins in the past 8 games are averaging 6.375 points in the second half. I knew it was bad, but wow. The Skins have not scored more than 13 points in the 2nd half since the October 26th game against the Lions.
bobs4
I have no faith in Zorn to do anything. All this talk during minicamps and preseason that Jason is making great strides....is lightyears ahead of last year....has really improved his dropback and his release time.... all of bunch of bullcrap. He looks EXACTLY the same as last year because he is still Jason Campbell. You cannot teach talent. As far as Zorn goes, if something doesn't work then you change it. Zorn cannot do that at halftime because he can't even do it from a whole season to the next. Last year we saw Zorn run Portis ragged INTO the line left and INTO the line right for 2 yards. Seems like its ALWAYS 2 yards. Then we pass on 3rd and long. How predictable last year and thus we couldn't move the ball. Well here we are a year later and its still Portis right and Portis left on first down and 3rd and long comes a pass. Zorn is so predictable and he is not creative at all. He is also STUPID because every body and their mother including announcers and experts and fans all want to know why Zorn is running a screen pass to Moss at the 8 yard line and even worse..my question is why is it to the short side of the field where he got pushed out of bounds easily. Man o Man we all have 9 and 10 year olds who can figure out the physics of that play and why it can't work. And with an entire season of prep Campbell can;t even get into the huddle and has to burn TWO timeouts. That is on Zorn because if Campbell is too slow mentally to get plays together and lead a team...then they have cut the wrong QB. No. I don;t think Zorn can make adjustments at halftime or over an entire year.
MumboSauce
In a word. No. at least I haven't seen it...other than reverting into a shell and getting ultra conservative, if that's the adjustment you mean.
paintrain
He can't make pre-game adjustments, why would he be able to make in game adjustments? The Giants suited up 3 corners. THREE!! We should have been going 4 wide and re-creating the greatest show on turf or died trying.

And when we did complete passes, we got big chunks (especially on the last drive). But the truth is, Zorn isn't comfortable with Campbell. He doesn't want the ball in Campbell's hands for too long.
