However, it has been my personal experience to begin it about 3-4 weeks before the season. It's just too early now.... and many people who signup will drop off and never be heard from. They have the best intentions.. but a lot of things can happen in the next 4 weeks. It's happened every year for almost all our contests. If we do it just before the season... the people who signed up are more likely to be in it for the long haul. We'll have an announcement (ie. sticky thread at the top of the board) and and official announcement - using a new feature that NO MEMBER WILL BE ABLE TO MISS!! when we officially kickoff rollcall.
