renaissance Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 So I'm going to Chicago in a few weeks to watch the US National team destroy Honduras en route to the World Cup. We'll be driving from DC and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on driving routes and hotels in the city. I've been to Chicago once before but it was on the company's dollar so I don't think I'll be staying at the same hotel (unless anyone wants to give me a few hundred bucks?? ). Elessar78 Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 Yeah. Easiest one from downtown DC is to drive north on the BW Parkway for about 20 miles and follow signs for BWI airport. Park your car and buy a plane ticket for Chicago at the Southwest desk. I just looked it up on southwest.com and for that weekend round trip tickets per person are $154.
