With all the talk recently of the Redskins willingness to part with 2 first round picks for several different players (Jay Cutler, Chad Johnson,or trading up for Mark Sanchez, or Brian Orakpo)

I was thinking that usually two 1st round picks will fetch you just about anything in the league. Not true come draft day on the day players are drafted "The Pick" is usually worth more than most of the players ever turn out to be.

Why are we so quick to trade all this for rookies but when given the chance for a steal of another teams proven players we went after none of them. Yes i am talking about Franchise players. Now not all of them were worth it ,but when players that fill such a need like Terrel Suggs ,Ashamuga (before we had D.Hall) are available maybe for the only time in their career we are silent.[/color] Instead it appears we will trade everything for a crap shoot. Here's hoping its a 7.:)

Any of you out there can think of better ways we could spend our next two first rounders?
