The Evil Genius
Does anyone know if you can use a USB Memory Stick on them? I know the PS2 has a USB port (or at least I think it does). Can this be used by the new Memory Sticks (some look like keychains now)? Just wondering...
codeorama
I don't know for a fact, but I doubt it. I know what you are talking about though. PS 2 does have a USB port though.
Buddha
Thought about trying it, then realized you need PS2 drivers to run it. I don't know if there are any memory stick manufacturers that produce the drivers, but there might be some 3rd party sites that jackleg generic drivers together. Let me know if you find one. The Wicked Wop
I don't think it does, though not completely sure. I havn't seen any articles about compatability. Also the USB ports were really designed for keyboards and mouses, (the new USB memory modules are still farily new, and I don't believe any were on the market when the PS2 came out). Also just thinking about it logically, if they were compaitable, I would virtually make the PS2 memory car absolete since those usually hope way more information at near the same cost. The Wicked Wop
Was gonna ask around before I fvck up my PS2 though. Understandable. I think this article just about answers it though. Looks like their making the memory stick adaptable but not just yet. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/361/361339p1.html?fromint=1&submit.x=74&submit.y=
