SLIMM 1
Do you think we have a chance or are even thinking about picking up Julius Peppers. He says he doesn't want to be in Carolina next year. I think he would make a good combination with Jason Taylor on the other side. What does the forum think?
Ant15fromNJ
I do like him but it seems when we go and spend big money on a big time player from a former team it doesnt work out for us. But I would be happy if we end up with him.

kevin11
How about we trade Julius Peppers for Taylor/Springs? I would be for it.
Santana_Fan
I think he'd be good here. He's good at stopping the run and good at rushing the passer. Jason Taylor is solely a pass rusher. Julius Peppers has the type of size we need right now for a defensive end, so I'm all for it.

I think he would be a huge bust if he came to D.C. and next time lets look before we post http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=278586

HapHaszard
Good article on Peppers should be up in Redskins breaking news shortly. As soon as Bubba or a Mod releases it.

Julius Peppers does not want to play in a 4-3 defense.....Washington plays a ? 4-3 defense... Dont know the reason he dont want to play in a 4-3? thats all he has played in AND SUCCESSFUL. He is big enough to do it I believe but... it dont make sense. I think he would salivate to play next to a dominating DT again (they lost Jenkins) like Minnesota (could you believe JP,KW,PW,and JA). Maybe hes lobbying to play in NYJs to play w/ Jenkins again. I dont know.

terpskins10
I heard he wants to play in a 3-4 scheme. I don't really know why since he'll be putting up less numbers as a 3-4 DE, but more power to him. That rules us out, thankfully. I'm sick of signing all these big name guys, as if we're "just one piece" away from anything. Why can't we just find a way to draft our own Julius Peppers for a bargain 1st round contract instead of a monster free agent deal?
