ANALYSIS

Positives: Tall punter with long, limber legs … Has soft hands to securely field the snap and good explosion into the ball … Capable of obtaining proper hang time and distance on his punts … Has the leg drive to kickoff for distance … Gets a consistent rise on his punts and shows accuracy placing his attempts near the sidelines … Shows willingness to get downfield to lend support on the coverage units.

Negatives: While he has the athletic ability and strong kicking leg, he has not been the model for consistency during his career … Two-and-a-half step punter with marginal touch-to-toe mechanics (1.4 second average) … Most of his attempts lack proper height and hang time (3.97 second average), resulting in the opposition getting a strong return before the coverage unit can properly set up … Kicks across his body, resulting in poor control on his attempts … Has trouble angling his punts into the wind … Needs to show a more fluid motion in his approach to the ball.
