I always hate the whole only getting players the former coaches have coached . You could miss out on top level players that way because none of your coaches no them.

It certainly could be. I bet we had to give him that deal to get him, as there were several other teams looking for a punter. We were probably in a bidding war with the Cowboys and Packers. He was the best of what was available in my opinion, so I am fine with it.

Sometimes that is true, but I don't think so in this case. I don't think there were any better options at any of the three positions.
