When a handful of people live life with a chip on their shoulders the size of the Rock of Gibraltar and start saying stupid nonsense like black people are the biggest losers in the subprime mortgage market, yeah... that's either the product of their own imaginations or something someone else has fed them. It has nothing to do with relations, unless that same group of people dislike another because they mistakenly think the grass is so much more green on the other side. This was intended to be lighthearted and funny and I thought it fairly represented the tailgate as when we don't discuss race in the tailgate things (typically) go a lot smoother and people have proven my point by getting into a ridiculous race debate.
