Possible "big" recievers at a bargain price ??

There are a few good receivers available in the first couple rounds of the draft. Thing is.. we need fresh O-line and DB bodies more than we need WR at the moment.

Our production in games where moss or/and RE were injured didn't take a huge hit. Not only that, but our youth at WR is much better than that of CB and especially the O-line. Draft for the future.

I completely agree that we need fresh O line players, mostly at Guard. However, the fact of the matter is that most of the best Guards in the NFL went AFTER the 1st round whereas most of the best WRs in the NFL were either 1st round or 1st day picks.

Trade out of the first round get two more second rounders and have three twos, and two threes. With this you can rebuild the o-line, and dlines and corner. We have three good receivers (ARE, Cooley, Moss) and Mix as a project. Veteran with Rache (sp?). WR is not the first need.

Trading down is not as easy as people make it sound, especially if you're already in the later part of the draft. If you're top 10 it's possible, at 21 someone would really have to be completely in love with a player to trade up but generally at that point in the 1st it isn't worth it unless you're trading way up for a stud.

As far as WR goes, it seems that Zorn and Vinny don't share your view that a big WR is not a need.
