The Redskins were two days removed from kicking the Cowboys' asses, I was sitting with a buddy on the beach sipping a Bloody Mary and eating an omelette when I received a phone call from my mother back in DC. We talked about the upcoming playoff game in Seattle, and she mentioned that she had kept my old Art Monk autograph which said on it: To my friend Mike, Art Monk I had forgotten all about this autograph, and I thought that I had lost it 16 years ago when I was barely 12 years old. I met him in Springfield mall right after the Redskins' last Super Bowl victory. I started this thread to share my enthusiasm of that moment. Could you imagine hearing that a very important piece of a great childhood memory had been preserved, when you thought that it had been gone forever? Go Redskins! Kill Seattle!
