Oldfan
Not to sound too belligerent here ... but by your definition, Tom Brady would be just "doing his job" ...I don't know if one can say that a QB is "just doing his job" when a QB delivers a ball to an open receiver. I think, in many situations, a receiver is open only for a moment; it takes a good qb to recognize that and take an advantage of it. Better the QB, better he will be at recognizing the situation. In many of TC's passes, TC is actually throwing the ball BEFORE the receiver is open, which is difficult to do. I was responding to a poster who had set up the strawman argument that Collins' supporters were proclaiming greatness for him. If Todd could maintain the level of play that he's shown over several years, then "great" wouldn't be hyperbole. But Todd isn't making spectacular plays. He's simply playing smarter than Campbell and throwing the ball with better accuracy.
ozskin
I dont think it's just Collins. Taylor's death has definetly played it's part.
