George Vreeland Hill
My heart goes out to the family of Sean Taylor, his friends, the Redskins, and you, the fans. This is a sad day for us all. It is too bad that these things have to happen. I believe that guns have no use in society today, but that is another story for another time. This is about Sean Taylor. As a fan of the New York Giants, I know Sean Taylor very well. Our teams play each other twice a year. Every time I saw #21 on the other side, I knew things would not be easy for the Giants. Taylor played football the way it is supposed to be played. Tough, hard, and with an attitude. He was good. Whenever Shockey, Toomer, or Plaxico went over the middle for a pass, I knew what was coming. So did they. Sean Taylor would be coming their way. And Sean Taylor had his way because he was the best at what he did. His style of play often made me think of another Taylor who wore number 56 for us. Yes, Sean Taylor was that good. All fans wanted him on their teams. You were lucky. He was a Redskin. When he was drafted, I knew you had a special player. He turned out to be more than that. As a person, he would do anything for anyone. He cared about people, and was a loving family man. As he matured, his life got even better. He was starting to make his mark on the world. It is too bad it all had to end so quick. He was only 24. His future was bright. The Redskins not only lost a great player, but a real friend. Every time I see the Redskins from now on, I will think of Sean Taylor, and the impact he would have had on that game. All fans love real players. God bless Sean Taylor. And God bless the Redskins for bringing him to the NFC East. In our division, we play football Sean Taylor style! George Vreeland Hill

SkinsGlory
Well spoken. I am sad, of course, but I feel proud knowing that Sean Taylor will always be a Redskin and he will always be embraced by our fans. It's a sport, but the reason why we go nuts for this team is because we treat it like a family. Rest in Peace Sean.
