w33dh0l3
For formatting purposes, I removed the drafting team. Still should be pretty easy to figure out what team everyones on. 1 Alex Smith - QB 2 Ronnie Brown - RB 3 Braylon Edwards - WR 4 Cedric Benson - RB 5 Carnell Williams - RB 6 Adam Jones - CB 7 Troy Williamson - WR 8 Antrel Rolle - CB 9 Carlos Rogers - CB 10 Mike Williams - WR 11 Demarcus Ware - DE 12 Shawne Merriman - OLB 13 Jammal Brown - OT 14 Thomas Davis - S 15 Derrick Johnson - OLB 16 Travis Johnson - DT 17 David Pollack - DE 18 Erasmus James - DE 19 Alex Barron - OT 20 Marcus Spears - DE 21 Matt Jones - WR 22 Mark Clayton - WR 23 Fabian Washington - CB 24 Aaron Rodgers - QB 25 Jason Campbell - QB 26 Chris Spencer - OC 27 Roddy White - WR 28 Luis Castillo - DT 29 Marlin Jackson - CB 30 Heath Miller - TE 31 Mike Patterson - DT 32 Logan Mankins - OG Now, how many names do you actually recognize as a stand out, or quality player? There really aren't that many on the 2005 list at all. I would say only DeMarcus Ware, Shawn Merriman, Jammal Brown, and some homerism towards Campbell and Rogers. In fact the entire top 10 looks like a bustfield minus Braylon Edwards, and the aforementioned Carlos Rodgers. But the point is, in the entire draft there are very few quality names, so we came out pretty well in my opinion!

Joncevensen
top ten maximum successes: ronnie brown thats it medium successes: rogers, edwards, cadillac, smith 10-20: SUPERSTARS: Ware and Merriman, everyone else mid or bust as would be expected 20-32 campbell and everyone after him have been incredible successes. The last seven picks netted more quality players then the top ten. Time will tell if any of the bottom 7 are superstars though

Clemenza1112
Are you crazy there are alot of good players from that draft. D. Johnson playing a good LB. E. James is one of the better DE in the NFC for the Vikings. L. Castillo DT for Charger's playing very good for late 1st rd pick. M. Jackson is playing better then C. Rodgers is. A. Barron is a starting OL and playing well. H. Miller do I have to say more.

LOL shows what you know Erasmus James is about to be cut,he hasn't started a game in almost 2 years. he suited up for 1 game this season thats it. saying marlin jackson is better than carlos rogers is completely unfounded, rogers has like 8 pass breakups to jackson 2. alex barron is mediocre in St. Louis. Redskins4ever
Shawn Merriman is the only elite name so far. He's the only one out of the bunch that's reached celebrity status being on commercials. Pac Man Jones has made plays on the field but he's been a knucklehead off the field. Braylon Edwards and the rest of them haven't shown much. Jason Campbell is just getting his chance and he's making the most of it.

w33dh0l3
Also to add on, compare these players to players in the 2006 draft. Without posting a full page, the top 5 was: Mario Williams, Bush, Vince, D'Brickashaw, A.J. Hawk. Many more notables in the bottom half, Santonio Holmes, Joseph Addai, Kiwanuka, Maroney, Jonathan Joesph. And more "potential" players I'd like to think, Cutler, Leinert, Vernon Davis. w33dh0l3
The St. Louis line is pretty terrible, lol Also to the poster earlier, Cooley's stats are almost twice as better than Heath Miller in terms of yards in 2005 and 2006, and better overall in terms of touchdowns. Clemenza1112
He had surgery in 06 and he finally is back playing now his rookie year in 05 started 6 games and had 4 sacks so that shows what you know Chow and Marlin Jackson is one of the reason the Colts D is so much better. M. Jackson stats 39 Tackles and 1 int. C. Rodgers stats 15 Tackles and 1 int. so who is playing better?

Ghost of
Braylon Edwards had his first year abbreviated due to injury. He had a decent year last year, actually with 61 catches for 884 yards and 6 TD. This year, he has a credible player at QB for the last several games and is avg 19 per catch and has 7 TDs. Braylon, as I insisted to SOME people on this board, was a great player capable of making great plays. It's hard to blame a WR when he has Charlie Frye throwing him balls. Or put it another way, even if the Pats didn't have Randy Moss, they'd be doing QUITE well with Braylon Edwards right now. Or to put it yet another way, we'd be a HELL of a lot better with Braylon Edwards at wideout. I'm not saying we should have traded up to get him but I think he's proving his worth.
