NavyDave
I say pass on price and Boston. We should be able to keep D Thompson at a relatively cheap price. Our top 3 receivers are D Mac , Gardner and D Thompson decent speed good size. Russell returning healthy or picking a speed receiver in the draft can only help since a vet would essentially be a rookie except with a higher price tag. The Dark Horse
The only problem I have with drafting a deep speed WR is that we need a proven deep threat now. Wide receivers generally take a few season to bake up to potential. I'm not so sure our team can afford to wait that long.
pgasia
What we need more than speed at WR is an experienced and proven WR to show the younger WRs. Obviously Anothy/Green/Jackson are all failed experiences but we do need a big time experienced WR to have explosive offense. Not sure who are potential free agent WRs by the end of the season, but someone like Hinds Ward of Pittsburg will be ideal, proven performaner, great speed and excellent runnner after catch...
