LoudMouth12thMan
always a popularity contest...not ST...not yet (although he's my favorite player on the team)...Washington is more defensively sound. The poll didn't ask who the best athlete was. HTTR

skins84
Who's our best defensive player? Easily sean Taylor. I would be willing to bet anything that If Greg Williams were forced to answer this question he would say ST.
Santana_89
Marcus Washington.
Redskinswhoopass
Best player is easily Marcus, He is a Great Leader, Great against the Run, Makes the big plays when we need them most, And The whole Defense feeds off his enegry. Taylor is a close Second, when he can actaully cover some one he will be are best player, But hands Down the most raw talented Safety in the league, And the hardest hitting too. Skins4481
I think a lot of you are overestimating Washington dramatically. The guy was average in every aspect last year. He was bad in coverage, dropped INTs, not great against the run, got ran over on multiple occasions and was an average blitzer. Sean Taylor was easily our best player last year. The guy did get beat a lot in coverage but when your front seven isn't making tackles and you have to move up to help, you get put in a position where people can get behind you easier. He wasn't easily anything. He has a terrible year. So did practically everyone else on the team. That doesnt entitle you to give ST the award "Easily" just because you're on his jock. No one deserves it.
