HoyaSkins28
Now that we signed Fred Smoot there has been alot of talk about Shawn Springs not returning next year. I think we all know that Kenny Wright is not an adequate nickel, maybe we should sign Rod Hood. It would be a double whammy getting him and taking him away from the Eagles. I dont think it would happen but it would be great to have Rogers, Smoot, and Hood.
ImmortalDragon
Is he an unrestricted free agent? If so he'd be a steal
ceviker
Is he an unrestricted free agent? If so he'd be a steal He is and I'd like to sign him for a reasonable price. However, it's said that he left Philly because he felt like he could start somewhere, so if a team is dangling a starting job in front of him, he'll most likely take that - no matter how much $$ we throw at him. Grimm
If Springs isn't back, Hood would be a good replacement. I really wish we would have gone after Hood instead of Smoot, I think he would fit the defense a lot better.
#21Taylor4Ever
Based on what Im reading, Springs is staying as a possible nickel/safety. He says he's like to stay, but the Lions have been asking about him too.
Bigredskin77
No! NO! NO! we have done enough in free agency. Draft a corner in the late rounds if your lookin for depth man. We spent enough money and got to low key free agents.Have we learned anything from last year and 2000
mi6
1. We should trade Shawn Springs to the Detroint Lions. We DO need additional draft picks. 2. Go after Rod Hood, and Domique Foxworth

He is still our number one corner and better than Carlos and superior to Smoot.
