mojo Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 I would love a Soundgarden reunion so much, and even a RATM reunion (though I'm not a huge fan, I enjoy them from time to time). But Cornell NEEDS to start singing again. Imo, Audioslave is an abomination in the music scene today. Cornell went from having one of the best sets of lungs ever to being a dried-up husk of himself, moaning and mumbling. Even Morello lost his spark. Just a bad fit for both parties involved. Totally agree. When I go back and listen to Badmotorfinger or Temple of the Dog (which Cornell did pretty much on his own), I'm reminded of what a genius he was and how far he's fallen. I hope his foot gets run over by many passing automobiles. But if it means Rage is coming back.. Bring it on! I've never met him, but the fact that he lives part time in France tipped me off. It's all opinion. I just never got that into Soundgarden, although I admit Cornell can sing his ass off. Audioslave just didn't seem like a good fit from the beginning.
