Yes, it's a way for Snyder to prep for changing the team name. But it's also a reminder to the NFL that the Skins are one of their premier franchises, not to be abused by upstarts like Bill "the Blob who wouldn't shut up" Maas or numerous corrupt refs. And most importantly, it sent a signal to the Hall of Shame and its donut eating voters that ART MONK IS STILL HIGHER RANKED THAN ALL BUT THREE OF THE RECEIVERS YOU PUT IN THE HALL OF "FAME". Riggo-toni Posted October 28, 2002 Share Posted October 28, 2002 Saying Monk doesn't belong in the HOF because Defenses were more worried about Gary Clark is as stupid as saying Cris Carter doesn't belong because defenses were more worried about Randy Moss. And Carter never did anything in the playoffs. Carter deserves to (and will) make the HOF someday, but should NEVER go in before Monk. When Monk retired, he had just about eery record in the book!
