theandies
Seem to get everyone off their bye week? :whoknows: NYG, Indy and next up is Philly. Is it just me or is there something to it? At least we get Dallas after or bye. :dallasuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck
Joe Gibbs II
Because in his last few months of reign, Tags wanted to screw us. That is clearly the only possible reason.
stwasm
I have always hated the bye week! Most importantly, it's a Sunday without seeing your favorite football team. But, the only reason it exists is because, back in the early '90s, the networks complained about the low ratings. So, the NFL added a week -- the bye week -- to the season so they could stretch everything out to counter the low ratings. Now that the NFL is a ratings giant, if they want to hold on to that bye week for them to make more money, then have all of the teams of a given division take that week at the same time, then play each other the following week so that there's no unfair advantage. Of course, it makes way too much sense to do that!
MTechnik
I was thinking about this today. However, our bad schedule isn't why we suck. It's our wonderful management.
Redskins4ever
The bye week is always a good thing. It helps to revaluate and rest up. The road ahead is tough for every NFL team, I'm sure.

MTechnik
At the end of the day, the decision to keep our QB belongs to... management. At the end of the day, the decision to have no depth in our 2ndary belongs to... management. That is, if you buy that this is our only problem causing our entire D to fall over. Both point to management.
roanoker
The way things have been going we need the bye week. So does the team...
NoVaSkins21
There's nothing you can do about the schedule. The fact that the Skins are facing so many teams off of their bye week is just a concidence.
Capt'n Obvious
The schedule is what it is, gotta beat the teams that are on it, regardless of if they had their bye week or how good/bad a team they are.
Mania
stwasm, I have never been a fan of the bye week for the same reason, however it is a well needed break for the team. The only reason it was installed was the league would make more money through advertising revenues, etc......... Thank god we don't have 2 bye weeks anymore as we did in the early 90's.
