SAN89TANA
can you send this to Joe Gibbs? He would just throw that last minute TD drive in my face and say something like.... " Mark really hung in there and played great down the stretch. I don`t think you can single out any one player. We lose as a team. "

jds84
That was by far the best Brunell criticism on this site...because it let the facts speak for themselves. Yeah, he had no INT's today but this team needs more than a "short (x) pass" leader. It doesn't help a team win games but rather helps them lose with dignity. But the fact that Brunell didn't fumble or throw an INT let's me think that perhaps the fans have been looking to criticize the wrong place. Yes, he's been throwing short but how many of these short passes listed above were dumped off in lieu of something longer b/c Brunell was under immense pressure? Believe me I AM NOT a Brunell apologist but i've also noticed a lot of replays were OL was getting beat pretty bad off the ball. But who am I kidding? OL's all over the league get a handful of plays every game. I can only hope that the coaches can truly have the guts to start the best guy for the job in two weeks against the Cowboys. skinnyles
For all the stats JG spouts at the Monday presser he sure finds ways to ignore them. I.m frankly tired of his excuses. He sounds like the Mother, of the spoiled child, that is never to be blamed. Its everyone elses fault. God I mad!!!
SAN89TANA
He sounds like the Mother, of the spoiled child, that is never to be blamed. Yup... Gibbs personnel relationship with Brunell " the person " has clouded his professional opinion of Brunell " the quarterback ". It`s hurting the Redskins... And that`s something I thought Gibbs would never do. I thought wrong.
kevinklein
I was so freaking frustrated. I think we need to go an entire game without running a single dump off route. Make the ****er throw the ball downfield.
